In just under six years, Jacobsen ECLIPSE has reached sales of over 5,000 walking and riding units around the world.
On an absolutely brilliant day at the Pakuranga Country Club, 4 of New Zealand’s up and coming turf trainees pitted themselves against each other and one last final day of exams for the right to win the Jacobsen / Power Turf Trainee of the year award. Tyler Otney (Westown Golf Club), Tony Wood (North Shore Golf Club), Luke Burton (Kauri Cliffs) & Nick Brown (Royal Wellington Golf Club) were put through their paces on the 7th of May by Ian Higgins (who replaced Steve Hodgson due to a conflict of interest with Tyler Otney), Gordon Trembath representing NZGCSA and Terry Sullivan from Power Turf New Zealand.

Jacobsen, a Textron Inc (NYSE: TXT) company, announced today that it increased global sales of its full line of quality turf equipment 12.7 percent in 2012. In addition to global sales being up nearly 13 percent, 63 percent of Jacobsen’s North American sales territories saw year-over-year sales growth.
